PROF. DR. ERSOY KONAŞ

He was born in Samsun in 1975, and completed his primary and secondary education in Samsun. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1999. He started his specialty education at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, ranking in the first twenty in the Examination for Specialty in Medicine.

He completed his specialty training in 2006 and granted with the title of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon. After completing his compulsory medical service in Erzincan State Hospital between 2006-2009, he was admitted as an associate fellow in Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery in 2009.

Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery is a discipline involved not only in a particular organ system, but the whole body, and building on principles rather than specific procedures, it can offer the most ideal treatment, depending on individual patient by blending the conventional approaches and inventions. The ability to provide effective treatments in the fields such as aesthetic surgery, craniofacial surgery and hand surgery is, of course, requires a level of proficiency which is attainable only after hard and long years of training, and takes much patience. Offering these treatments to everyone, from newborns to elderly patients, is another important aspect of the discipline.
